Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Wrinkles and lines on the upper part of the face are usually caused by the folding of the skin created from facial expressions such as frowning, surprise and when we laugh.  If you'd like to see an improvement of these lines, anti-wrinkle injections may be the solution.

If the lines are not too prominent, anti-wrinkle injections can even prevent the wrinkles from deepening and help maintain a youthful look for both men and women.

Frown Lines on Forehead

When frown lines become a permanent fixture, it can make us look permanently worried or stressed.  Not a good look!

Small amounts of the anti-wrinkle product are injected in strategic points of the frontalis muscle on the forehead to lift and smooth these lines.

Crow's Feet

To smooth out Crow's Feet or Eye Smile Lines, anti-wrinkle product is injected into the Orbicularis Oculi muscle.  This is quite a sensitive area, so smaller amounts are used to relax the muscle in that area.    Typically, the result is that when you smile, the Smile Lines don't form.

Frown Lines between Brows

This is the glabellar region, where we have 3 very strong muscles, the procerus and the corrugators.  Injections are strategically placed in these muscles to create a lift and smooth out the wrinkles to give you a fresher, more youthful look.

The main ingredient of anti-wrinkle injections is usually Botulinum Toxin. In large doses Botulinum toxin is poisonous. The very small amounts of Botulinum used in the injections from FDA approved, tried and tested products is safe.
The Botulinum toxin has the effect of relaxing the muscles, which are causing the folds or wrinkles in the skin. The relaxed muscles smooth out the wrinkled skin.
It typically takes 14 days after the anti-wrinkle injection treatment to see the results.
Botulinum Toxin, the usual product used for Anti-Wrinkles Injections, is used in tiny doses, which, research has shown, is safe. I only work with quality, tried and tested products. Before treatment, all clients see an on-site doctor before anti-wrinkle injections are prescribed. I am fully trained and insured to carry out anti-wrinkle injections safely. For extra safety, I trained in First Aid and dealing with Anaphylactic Shock.
It can occasionally hurt slightly, but usually not.
