Facial Fillers AJE

Non-Surgical Facelift with Filler

Fillers in the face are a perfect way to get an almost instant lift  and reduce the signs of ageing.  Filler is injected into the skin to provide lift and soften the lines that age us.

Naso-labial Folds

Those lines that run from the corner of the nose to the side of the mouth are known as the Naso-labial Folds.  They are very noticeable tell-tale signs of our age, but can be easily treated with Dermal Filler injections.

The lines are produced either as a result of strong muscles during smiling or by the skin sagging from a reduction in muscle tone, collagen and elastin.    Dermal Filler injections are very effective at providing structure in the location, to smooth out the lines.

Marionette Lines

Marionette Lines run from the corner of the mouth down towards the chin and jaw and smoothing of these lines with Dermal Fillers really helps us to look younger.

Cheeks

Dermal Fillers are extremely effective at providing lift in the cheek area, which then also leds also lifts the lower part of the face.  Sometimes Filler is needed in the cheeks to correct Naso-labial Folds, rather than in the Naso-labial Fold region.  It depends on what is causing the folds.

Facial fillers can be used to fill in the wrinkles in the Naso-labial Folds, Marionette Lines and Smoker's Lines. They are also excellent to help lift and define the face by adding to Cheeks, Jawline, Chin & Tear Trough (under eye) area.
I only use good quality, FDA approved temporary fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Saypha) to ensure safety for my clients. These products are tried and tested with plenty of data to support their safety record. Hyaluronic Acid, the main ingredient of temporary fillers, is a synthetic version of the hyaluronic acid produced in our bodies, so is non-toxic. It is non-animal based and can be easily dissolved if necessary.
With a poor product, the wrong technique and no numbing techniques ... it can pinch slightly. We use a topical numbing agent on your skin before treatment, as well as using fillers that contain an anaesthetic so most clients feel little to no pain. With quality products containing Lidocaine, the right technique and topical numbing agent you see great results quickly.
The typical side-effects of Filler is swelling, redness and possible some bruising. This quickly fades within a few days. Ice packs and Arnica can be used to help with swelling if needed.
Facial Fillers may last up to 2 years, but more typically 5-9 months depending upon your own body's metabolism and the filler used. It will then need to be renewed to maintain the look.
This depends on which filler and the amount used. Fillers are measured in ml. A treatment with Facial Filler would require from 1-3 ml, with prices starting from £179 per ml.
